General

Every calculator on Pivotal Calc is an informational and educational tool. It is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, and we do not guarantee that any result is accurate, complete or suitable for your circumstances. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on anything on this site.

All calculations run in your browser. The figures you enter are not sent to us or stored — see our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for checking any result against the primary source, your own records, or a qualified professional before you act on it.

Financial calculators

The money calculators — savings, investing, mortgages, loans, debt, retirement, net worth and anything similar — are estimates for general guidance only. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and no adviser–client relationship is created by using them.

Projections are necessarily simplified. They rely on the assumptions you enter, they assume rates and contributions stay constant, and they ignore inflation unless a field says otherwise. They also ignore fees, taxes, penalties and the specific terms of any product you hold. Real returns vary, can be negative, and past performance is not a guide to future results. Before making a financial decision, speak to a qualified and regulated professional.

Medical calculators

The health and clinical calculators are for education and quick reference only. They are not medical advice, they are not a diagnosis, and they must not be used to make treatment, prescribing or dosing decisions for a real patient.

A result does not replace clinical judgement. Every clinical score is a pre-test probability aid or a reference figure, not a conclusion: a score outside a cutoff never excludes a condition on its own, and a score inside one never confirms it. Formulas, thresholds and reference ranges also differ between guidelines, sources and local laboratories, and the version used by this site is named in each calculator’s own notes.

Some tools implement a published scoring system whose drug list or criteria are the published ones and are therefore not exhaustive. Absence of an item from such a list is not evidence that it is free of the effect being scored. Always confirm results against your local guidelines, the primary source, and a qualified clinician.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape it in a way that degrades service for others. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time. These terms may be updated; the date at the top of this page shows the current version.
